Charges Pending After Student Injured in a Car Accident
Vehicular crashes are attributed to numerous causes. Among some explanations given over the years as to why a car accident happens are because a driver consumed a substance that alters reflexes and perception, was just plain negligent, or had some type of medical episode that caused him or her to lose control of the wheel. A student at a Georgia university was seriously injured in a car accident involving four vehicles. The 18-year-old driver of a Chevrolet compact car was traveling near the school when he sideswiped two vehicles parked in designated places along the side of the road. The student was standing near the rear of a third parked vehicle and was injured when the Chevrolet crashed into that vehicle. Although she was treated by local first responders, she was shortly airlifted to a medical facility 30 miles away. A status on her condition was not given in a report…
