Alleged Drunk Driving Cause for Woman’s Arrest

Georgia police see numerous bizarre behavior patterns when making traffic stops. In their efforts to keep the roads safe for all drivers, they find many stops are made because of drunk driving. A state trooper recently responded to a drunk driving incident and made an arrest. Emergency personnel were already on the scene when the officer arrived to find the driver of a vehicle asleep behind the wheel. The car was stopped at a traffic light around midnight and there were, in addition to the driver, three older, handicapped passengers inside. When the driver awoke and got out of her vehicle, police saw she had soiled herself and noticed there was a strong smell of alcohol coming from inside the car. Drunk Driving Incident Sends 3 to Hospital

The woman says she was in the parking lot of a retail store after making a purchase and returning to her car when another car backed out of its parking space and hit her. She claims the two of them made eye contact before the man began to drive in reverse. Not only did the car knock her to the ground, but the woman claims the driver ran over one of her legs before driving away. A dash…
