A recent auto accident in which three vehicles were involved appears to have been caused by a driver who obeyed a stop sign. Unfortunately, the individual failed to yield to other traffic in the intersection as he drove away from the stop sign. According to police, one of the drivers pulled away from a stop sign without maintaining a proper lookout for other vehicles in the intersection. The failure to yield the right of way, for which the driver received a traffic ticket, caused the car to be hit by another vehicle that was proceeding through the intersection. The vehicle that was hit was spun around before it hit a third vehicle that was stopped and waiting to enter the intersection.
