Woman Dies in Car Accident — Police Issue Charges

The early afternoon collision happened when the man ran a red light. He told police he had been in an argument with unknown persons and had driven away in a hurry, as someone in a black SUV began firing a gun at him. As he ignored the traffic signal, he hit a Volvo that was coming through the intersection on a green light. The driver of the Volvo was killed upon impact.

Police found an infant in the man’s vehicle and called the state’s Department of Family and Children Services to take the child. A report on the incident did not reveal whether the child was injured in the collision. The man claims he was also giving a woman a ride following the argument, but she ran after the wreck, and police have not been able to find her. They also have not been able to find the black SUV that allegedly caused the driver to run the light.

The woman killed in this car accident surely had family members who likely will be mourning her loss for years to come. In their grief, they may not realize they can take steps to hold this man accountable for taking the life of their loved one. Filing a wrongful death lawsuit can bring some peace of mind to a family whose lives have suddenly turned upside down. Wonderful law firm that cares

I was injured in a terrible fall which left my foot, arm back and knee badly bruised. The Dozier Law Firm was awesome. Attorney Dustin Hamilton reviewed and accepted my case and within a few months he was able to settle my case for more than I ever imagine. The Dozier Law Firm is A+ in my book.
