Search Continues for Driver After Car Accident

At the time of the crash, the 19-year-old suspect was reportedly traveling 84 miles per hour on a road where the speed limit was 35 miles per hour. He was traveling with five minor passengers in his vehicle. The suspect’s vehicle collided with a second vehicle carrying two passengers. One of these passengers was killed, and the other was seriously injured. A passenger in the at-fault driver’s vehicle was also seriously injured.

A few days before the crash, the suspect was charged with a number of other criminal offenses. These crimes included statutory rape and electronically furnishing obscene materials. During that same month, he was also picked up for burglary-related crimes, and after the crash, he was also charged with vehicular homicide. After his arrest, the suspect was bailed out, but he is still considered dangerous and a flight risk by authorities. Those who have information about the suspect are encouraged to avoid making contact and to contact the police.

Car accident victims in Georgia may wish to contact an attorney in their area. An attorney may be especially helpful to individuals who have been in an accident involving an individual with a criminal history. Lawyers may be able to help their clients to receive any compensation that they might be owed for medical costs, property damages, or funeral costs.

Wonderful law firm that cares

I was injured in a terrible fall which left my foot, arm back and knee badly bruised. The Dozier Law Firm was awesome. Attorney Dustin Hamilton reviewed and accepted my case and within a few months he was able to settle my case for more than I ever imagine. The Dozier Law Firm is A+ in my book.
