Georgia motorcycle collision results in fatality

The woman driving the Hyundai was charged with vehicular homicide in the first degree, DUI and another charge. A breath test registered the woman’s blood-alcohol level at .209 percent, more than double the legal limit in the state. Police took her to the Fulton County Jail. The driver of the motorcycle was also taken into custody after he sought treatment at a local hospital. He faces charges of vehicular homicide, hit and run and another possibly unrelated charge.

Although the driver of the motorcycle faces charges related to the incident, the woman driving the car could be responsible for the injuries he suffered as well. The full extent of his injuries are unknown.

In this type of case, the death of a motorcycle accident victim often affects many lives. The woman driving the Hyundai may be held responsible for the crash; her reported blood-alcohol levels could support negligence. However, the driver of the motorcycle could also be held partially responsible. The woman’s relatives could potentially file a wrongful death suit against both individuals.

Wonderful law firm that cares

I was injured in a terrible fall which left my foot, arm back and knee badly bruised. The Dozier Law Firm was awesome. Attorney Dustin Hamilton reviewed and accepted my case and within a few months he was able to settle my case for more than I ever imagine. The Dozier Law Firm is A+ in my book.
