2 injured after tractor-trailer strikes bus on interstate

A representative for the Georgia Department of Public Safety stated that the driver of the FedEx semitrailer rear-ended the bus while traveling down the interstate. The impact of the collision caused both vehicles to leave the roadway before overturning. Both vehicles then reportedly caught fire.

The driver of the semi-truck was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital hospital via a Life Flight helicopter, and the bus driver was taken via ambulance to Tanner Medical Center. Their identities had not been released when the report became available, and the extents or their respective injuries were not known.

Those who become involved in truck accidents are at risk for suffering serious, sometimes life-threatening, injuries including traumatic brain injuries, internal bleeding and damage to limbs that necessitates amputation. Such harm can significantly reduce a person’s quality of life and prevent an individual from returning to a former profession.

Once an accident investigation concludes and points toward a party that may have been at fault for a crash, another party to the incident who was harmed may wish to file a personal injury claim. By moving forward with such a lawsuit, an accident victim may be able to recover damages for economic losses including any medical bills that were not covered by insurance and income that was lost due to being unable to work.

Wonderful law firm that cares

I was injured in a terrible fall which left my foot, arm back and knee badly bruised. The Dozier Law Firm was awesome. Attorney Dustin Hamilton reviewed and accepted my case and within a few months he was able to settle my case for more than I ever imagine. The Dozier Law Firm is A+ in my book.
