One vehicle flipped several times as a result of the impact. Two people in another car required removal from their vehicle. Injuries to four people required them to be transported to Gwinnett Medical Center where a 39-year-old female from Lawrenceville died. One remained hospitalized. Two were treated and released.
The 32-year-old driver had a duty to drive her vehicle in a legal lane of traffic. She also had a duty to keep a proper lookout for other vehicles on the roadway and control her vehicle in a safe and careful manner given traffic conditions and the use of the roadway.
The victims who were injured in the incident, along with the families of the victim who died, may wish to employ the services of an experienced personal injury lawyer. A lawyer might be able to help them those affected by the woman’s negligence to file a civil suit. Those injured could pursue compensation for their medical bills as well as damage to their property. The families of the victim who died may be eligible to receive compensation to cover funeral costs as well as the loss of their loved one’s potential income.
