Teen Killed in Drunk Driving Incident

The 22-year-old man is accused of speeding and hitting the back end of another car, pushing the car into a ditch by the side of the road. One of the passengers in the car, an 18-year-old high school student, died from the impact. The driver and a second passenger were injured and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Other than drunk driving, the soldier is facing numerous charges including injury and homicide by vehicle. He is being held in the jail of the county where the incident occurred and was denied bail by the judge in his recent court appearance. He has been stationed at the base for two years and will face military penalties in addition to civilians if convicted.

Families face a lifetime of heartache when a loved one is killed because of the negligence of another person. A wrongful death lawsuit will not bring their loved one back to them but the pursuit of legal action often makes the family feel like they are balancing the scales of justice. Any type of financial award will also help when money gets tight after the loss of one who contributes a sizable amount to the family’s financial well-being. Those who have lost a loved one to drunk driving will want a Georgia attorney who understands their objective and will work with them to achieve their goal.

Wonderful law firm that cares

I was injured in a terrible fall which left my foot, arm back and knee badly bruised. The Dozier Law Firm was awesome. Attorney Dustin Hamilton reviewed and accepted my case and within a few months he was able to settle my case for more than I ever imagine. The Dozier Law Firm is A+ in my book.
