When you’re planning a trip to Georgia, don’t forget to visit Ocmulgee Mounds National Historic Park. The park preserves traces of Native American culture that have been destroyed by time. It is a great place for families to explore and take photos. If you’re a history buff, you’ll also want to spend time learning about the ancient cultures of Georgia.

Visitors can enjoy the park’s 5+1/2 miles of walking trails, which take them through the park’s diverse landscape. You can visit the reconstructed ceremonial earth lodge, based on a 1,000-year-old structure. You can also explore other prehistoric features like burial mounds, platform mounds, and earthwork trenches. The English colonial trading post at Ocmulgee was also discovered during the 1930s. While it’s easy to access the main part of the park from Interstate 16, the park’s main section can be reached from U.S. Route 80.

The park has been a destination for families and individuals looking for a place to explore with their children. It’s also home to the only reconstructed Earth Lodge on the continent, which features a floor that is more than a thousand years old. If you’re not a history buff, you can check out the archaeological digs and the remains of the Colonial British trading post. The park is open to visitors daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. It’s also a popular place to take a hike and explore the area’s trails. Most of the trails are under one mile but can be linked together to form longer loops.

Wonderful law firm that cares

I was injured in a terrible fall which left my foot, arm back and knee badly bruised. The Dozier Law Firm was awesome. Attorney Dustin Hamilton reviewed and accepted my case and within a few months he was able to settle my case for more than I ever imagine. The Dozier Law Firm is A+ in my book.
